Polycystic ovary syndrome is a set of different symptoms that are moderately to strongly expressed and can lead to reproductive, endocrinological and metabolic disorders. PCOS is characterized by chronic absence of ovulation, associated with hyperandrogenism (increased level of male sex hormones) and insulin resistance.

Inositols, especially myo-inositol, play a key role in PCOS therapy due to their physiological function in the body.

MIO-INOSITOL participates in the production of androgens at the ovarian level, increases the sensitivity of cells to the action of insulin, regulates the menstrual cycle and restores ovulation, reduces sallowness and acne, controls appetite and frequent hunger attacks, reduces the risk of diabetes in pregnancy.

MAGNESIUM plays a key role in the metabolism of glucose and insulin, predominantly through its influence on insulin receptors on cells or directly acting on proteins that transport glucose into the cells of our body.

Chromium plays an important role in the regulation of blood glucose levels. Trivalent chromium works together with insulin to increase glucose utilization. It is an essential trace element necessary for the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats. Trivalent chromium in the form of picolinate ensures an extremely stable structure and maximum absorption.

FOLIC ACID (Quatrefolic®) is recommended for all women in the period before conception as well as for pregnant women in order to prevent the occurrence of certain complications such as congenital neural tube defect (spina bifida). It is responsible for the synthesis of DNA, RNA and proteins, the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy, and the normal metabolism of homocysteine.

FERTICURmag contains an active form of folic acid (Quatrefolic®), which the body uses immediately without the need for metabolism.

Warnings: The recommended daily intake must not be exceeded. The product should not be taken by people who are hypersensitive to any of the product’s ingredients. People with hypoglycemia should not take preparations containing chromium. It is not recommended for people with bipolar disorder, people using selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), people with severe AV block, and patients with myasthenia gravis.
